FULL DETAILSCreate a Cooking Team with your friends, family, coworkers, business, or weekend grilling crew. Registration is free, and we'll provide your primary cooking setup. You can serve smoked meats, seafood, pizza, vegetables, appetizers, desserts, or nearly anything else you can cook over live-fire.

EGGfest directly benefits the Keystone Kops & ABA Sportsmen charities.
Proceeds from our event go directly to these fantastic groups as they provide lodging and transportation assistance to children and their families during their care at Shrine Hospitals across the region.
During EGGfest, this distinguished unit of the Abu Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque helps us organize, set up, and execute EGGfest while selling drinks and RAFFLE TICKETS during the event.
Last year alone, we raised over $8,000.00 for this charity during EGGfest!

The event is held at Outdoor Home in Nixa, Missouri, just south of Springfield. Outdoor Home serves Big Green Egg owners throughout Nixa, Springfield, Ozark, Rogersville, Branson, and Southwest Missouri.
Smokin’ the Ozarks EGGfest is Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
An EGGfest EGG is a new Big Green Egg used once by a Cooking Team during the event. It is then picked up by its buyer after the event or delivered locally during the following week.
EGGfest EGG packages are eligible for the original limited lifetime warranty according to Big Green Egg warranty terms. Outdoor Home also provides local support before and after the purchase.
Absolutely! EGGfest is not limited to professional chefs or experienced competitors. It is designed for backyard cooks who enjoy using a Big Green Egg and want to share their recipes.
No. Cooking Team registration is free.
No. Outdoor Home provides the primary Big Green Egg and convEGGtor used by each registered team.
A Taster Ticket grants you samples of food from participating EGGfest Cooking Teams throughout the event. It also includes access to cooking demonstrations, music, family-friendly activities, and EGGcellent Chef voting.
Tasters may visit participating Cooking Teams and sample the recipes available throughout the event. Individual dishes are available while supplies last, so arriving early gives you the best opportunity to try more recipes.
Children ages 12 and younger may attend free with an adult.
No. Online purchasers will be added to the attendee list. Check in under the purchaser’s name at the EGGfest entrance.
EGGfest is planned as a rain-or-shine event. Severe weather may require a delay, layout change, temporary relocation, or rescheduling to protect attendees and participants.
After purchasing your Taster Tickets w/ EGGfest shirt, we will reach out within 24 hours (via email) requesting shirt size(s). If you don't receive the email, please check your SPAM folder or reach out directly at 417-761-7611.

The 2026 EGGfest is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of inclement weather, the event may be delayed or rescheduled. No refunds will be given due to force majeure or cancellation. The safety of our event participants is our top priority. If severe weather conditions develop, we may need to temporarily relocate to a safer space. Please follow the instructions of event staff in the event of an emergency. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
