The GrillGrate for the Large Big Green Egg is designed to improve direct grilling by shielding food from harsh rushing heat and open flame while still delivering the high temperatures needed for great searing. Sitting on top of your existing grate, this set helps reduce charring and drying so steaks, burgers, chicken, and vegetables stay juicier and cook more evenly.
With three interlocking panels covering about 90% of the Large Big Green Egg cooking surface, this setup gives you broad grilling coverage and added flexibility. You can cook rails side up for defined sear marks or flip to the flat side for griddling, making it a practical upgrade for anyone who wants more control from their charcoal grill.
