I purchased my big green egg large style in 2008. It still looks almost new. It’s so easy to keep an exact temperature. My favorite cook his prime rib medium rare. I loaded up with charcoal and have cooked as long as 14 hours without adding more. I can quickly get the temperature up to 700° to establish a good bark. when I finish cooking, I close it up and the fire goes out saving the charcoal.

Not remotely accurate! Using the meat prob on the top shelf next to the thermometer there is up to 75 degree difference. It looks cool but i wouldnt buy it again
